For more than 30 years, Mark was the senior marketing leader at Publix Super Markets, a Fortune 100 company. He led the evolution of marketing at Publix from a small, in-house advertising shop to a highly-skilled, multi-disciplined marketing function of over 350 associates. Its areas of expertise include marketing communications, creative development, customer analytics, loyalty performance, consumer insights and market research, product and service branding and design, and environmental design. During Mark’s time at the marketing helm, Publix grew more than $42 billion in annual sales and added 926 stores, expanding the company’s reach to include 7 southeastern states. Mark now serves on the Publix Board of Directors.
